Organization profile

Our centre will connect, enhance and expand our research in sustainable energy systems.

We will build upon the areas of excellence in areas which include energy networks, bio-based energy, off shore renewables and life cycle assessments to:

  • Coalesce expertise to create more comprehensive ability to solve grand challenges of particular energy system problems
  • Create interdisciplinary teams to create novel whole-system solutions to large scale and complex energy challenges

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
