Our research develops and advances knowledge that promotes inclusive policy and practice across sport, physical activity and health settings.
Sport and physical activity have the power to transform lives and act as tools for social change. However, there are persistent inequalities that act as barriers to engagement and impact particular social groups, communities, and individuals more than others.
Our researchers critically examine these issues of social justice, inequalities, power and human rights nationally and internationally. We do this by bringing together external partners and scholars from a range of academic disciplines.
