Organisation profile

Our research is improving our understanding of the interface between the built and natural environments. We are working to ensure the long-term resilience of our geotechnical, water and infrastructure systems. Through our postgraduate courses, we are educating the next generation of leaders to plan, construct, and protect our infrastructure.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
