The Centre for Energy and the Design of Environments (EDEn) promotes research in the field of sustainable building design and environmental engineering.
We are at the cutting edge of research in design sustainability, natural processes and renewable energy. We also draw on links with industry to promote energy efficient and climate awareness design.
We attract funding from national and international bodies such as the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and the European Union.
