Our natural and built environments are increasingly threatened by extreme weather events resulting from both anthropogenic climate change and natural processes.

Our Centre aims to understand and combat the resulting impacts, which include sea-level rise, flooding, storm events, droughts, increasing summer temperatures and reduced air quality to improve human health, ecosystems, food and water security, infrastructure, and entire social systems.
