Dataset for 'Can we connect with young adults? A qualitative exploration into young adults' mental health help-seeking, and perceptions of digital Single Session Interventions'

Dataset

Description

The dataset contains anonymised interview transcripts from N=22 young adults. The aims of the research were to: 1) understand where young adults look for mental health support, and 2) hear how young adults perceive a digital single session mental health intervention and a website designed to host it on. Interviews contained four sections: first participants were asked where they look for mental health and support; second they were shown a website hosting mental health support for young people (unlockwellbeing.org.uk) and asked what they thought about it; third they were asked what they thought about the concept of single session mental health interventions; and fourth they were shown screenshots of a single session intervention and asked what they thought of it.
