Description

This dataset supports the study on the effect of urban geometry parameters, namely, building heights (H), street widths (W), aspect ratio (H/W) and orientation on the outdoor thermal comfort conditions in Cairo, Egypt. The study uses Grasshopper for Rhino3D and its environmental plugins, Ladybug-tools, to analyse thermal comfort represented by the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) of multiple geometry configurations. The data files include the input parameters (prefixed "in:"), processed data and the output UTCI (prefixed "out:") in each phase of the study.
