Description

Written evidence submitted by Dr Jack Newman (Research Fellow at University of Bristol); Professor Sarah Ayres (Professor of Public Policy and Governance at University of Bristol); Dr Geoff Bates (Research Fellow at University of Bath) in response to the question: ‘What measures are being used to mobilise other devolved governments, public bodies, local government, and the private and voluntary sectors in delivering missions and are these sufficient?’ We focus specifically on how Mayoral Strategic Authorities are responding to mission-oriented government, and what steps need to be taken to ensure this potential is realised. We use the health mission as a case study.
