Our expertise and interest in responding to this submission is made by experts in health, environmental economics, policy, psychology, and political sciences, drawing on research from the Centre for 21st Century Public Health (C21PH) at the University of Bath (UoB).
-C21PH is a world-leading research centre focused on the commercial, political, social, and economic determinants of health.
-We use rich data and diverse methods to assess the real-world impact of policies.
-We study how built, natural, and social environments shape health and wellbeing.
-We drive change through projects like Local Health and Global Profits (LHGP), part of the Population Health Improvement network funded by UKRI.
-We collaborate with local governments, communities, public health professionals, and civil society.
-We identify, implement, and evaluate population-level interventions to improve health, wellbeing, and equity at the local level.
The C21PH would be delighted to support the Committee in its inquiry.
