Description

This activity concerns the visit of Prof Fabricio and Dr Caixeta to the University of Bath’s Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering, hosted by the Centre for Digital, Manufacturing & Design (dMaDe) between 19 and 24 February 2024. The purpose of the visit was to collaborate on the development of a research proposal focused on the application of digital twin technologies to mitigate hospital excess deaths associated with heatwaves. The visit included meetings with relevant faculty members contributing expertise to the proposal. Dr Ricardo Codinhoto served as the academic host, and the department provided office space and institutional support throughout the visit.
