Description

This activity concerns the visit of Professors Ana Lúcia Cerávolo (UNICEP), Ana Regina Mizrahy Cuperschmid (UNICAMP), Érico Masiero (UFSCar), Márcio Minto Fabricio (IAU USP), and Monica Tolentino to the University of Bath from 17 to 24 August 2025. The visit forms part of the joint research project “Enhancing Environmental Performance of Listed Buildings through Digital Twins and AI‑Driven Living Labs: A Case Study of Brazilian Modernist Architecture,” funded by CNPq under the CNPq/MCTI/FNDCT No. 22/2024 – Programa Conhecimento Brasil. Activities during the visit include research meetings, collaborative exchanges, and project planning sessions with colleagues from the Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering, The Foundry (Centre for Digital, Manufacturing & Design), and external partners working on Digital Twins and AI for heritage and environmental performance. All travel and subsistence costs are covered by CNPq as stipulated in the grant. The purpose of the visit is to advance the project’s objectives and strengthen international collaboration in Digital Twins, AI, and environmental performance of built heritage.
