The Third Workshop of High Performance Steel Structures Research Council

Description

The International Research Council, named High Performance Steel Structures Research Council (HPSSRC), was founded in 2018 and initiated by Prof. Gang Shi, Prof. Frans Bijlaard, and Prof. Milan Veljkovic. The first HPSSRC workshop was successfully held in 2018 in Delft, the Netherlands, and HPSSRC Workshop II was held online in 2020. In 2024, HPSSRC Workshop Ⅲ will be held on October 9-12 in Beijing, China. HPSSRC Workshop Ⅲ will be open to public registration, welcoming widespread participation from academic and industrial experts, covering research, design, processing, construction, and consulting within the field of steel structures.

The primary focus of HPSSRC Workshop Ⅲ will be on high strength steel structures, 3D printed steel structures, and high performance steel fatigue behavior, while also welcoming other presentations related to structures about high performance steels, e.g., stainless steel, low-yield-point steel, shape memory alloy steel, fire-resistant steel, weathering steel, etc.
