Sample lecture delivered for the University of Bath MA Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) programme.

The session introduces quantitative approaches to data collection and analysis in educational and applied linguistics research. It provides prospective postgraduate students with an example of research-methods teaching on the MA TESOL programme and illustrates how quantitative evidence can be collected, analysed and interpreted within educational research.
