I delivered a five-minute lightning talk titled "Embarking on Qualitative Research with People Living with Dementia: Reflections of a PhD Student", summarising my experience of embarking on a qualitative PhD project seeking participants living with dementia in residential care settings, and the process of situating myself within a field of research as an ‘outsider’ with no prior network.
