Psychology PhD Summer Conference

Activity: Academic conferences and events (excluding conference publications)Conference presentation / attendance

Description

During the PhD Summer Conference I delivered a presentation on my PhD project, summarising background information and why the project was important, and outlining my current work and plans for the future. My presentation focused upon stimming in autism, why autistic people stim, and encouraged attendees to re-frame stimming as potentially adaptive for autistic people.

I presented to other Psychology PhD students, members of the department, and other attendees. I won the first-place prize for best presentation at the event.
