The workshop will focus on:

1. An overview of the latest developments in Latin American studies in the UK from the perspective of the Society for Latin American Studies, including insights on research related to China and Latin America.

2. Submission and writing guidelines for the Bulletin of Latin American Research (BLAR) journal.

Below is the agenda for the session:

1. Welcome and introduction by Research Fellow Dr He Bingzi from the Social and Cultural Studies Department at the Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), including a brief photo session.

2. Opening remarks by Professor Guo Cunhai, Researcher and Director of the Argentine Studies Center.

3. Dr Juan Pablo Ferrero will deliver the lecture.

4. Discussion among attendees.

5. Closing remarks by Dr. Lin Hua, Associate Researcher and Deputy Director of the Social and Cultural Studies Department, as well as Secretary-General of the Argentine Studies Center.
