Panellist in the international panel discussion Internationalization in Higher Education, Critical Literacy and Language Teaching Education, held as part of the I Piauí-Iowa Conference on Language and Literature: Emerging Theories and Practices.

The panel brought together academics from the University of Bath, Hebei Normal University and the University of São Paulo to discuss issues at the intersection of higher education internationalisation, critical literacy and language education.

The wider conference was organised by the Postgraduate Program in Language and Literature at the Federal University of Piauí, Brazil, with collaboration from Iowa State University, USA. It aimed to promote the internationalisation of academic knowledge production and strengthen international connections through discussions of emerging theories and practices in language, literature, teaching and learning.
