IMPS and WEMMA-Academia and Industry Networking and Professional Development Symposium - Theme: Materials and Manufacturing

Description

Organisation of the first Academia and Industry Networking and Professional Development Symposium, which was a joint event between the West of England Metals and Materials Association (WEMMA) and the Centre for Integrated Materials, Processes and Structures (IMPS). The intention was to provide with a unique opportunity to network between academia and industry professionals that have interests in materials and to participate in a series of activities focused around continuing professional development. The event included a workshop session about how to apply to MIMMM, FIMMM and professional registration as CSci, CEnv and CEng.
