Committee member of postdoctoral selection.YUFE4Postdocs is an ambitious program co-funded by Horizon Europe’s Marie Sklodowska-Curie program. It is carried out by nine universities of the YUFE Alliance and is to attract 51 postdocs. The selection committee consists of 11 members: eight academics (5 from YUFE universities and 3 non-YUFE) with different academic backgrounds and three non-academic stakeholders.
Since December 2019, ten university institutes have grown into a European university that focuses on the exchange of students and staff. Students can follow parts of their academic career at a partner university or compose an interuniversity curriculum. Academic and administrative staff can fuel their careers with a short or long work stay across borders. The YUFE alliance comprises exclusively young universities with a strong focus on research and aims to become an inclusive university with a strong European identity. It should become the cradle of experts with a broad outlook who can tackle the European challenges of tomorrow.
