Delivered a lightning talk for the Women in OR & Analytics Network (WORAN) event: Come play HyChain! – a hydrogen supply chain web app

Description

In 2022, with Dr Mi Tian, we co-founded HyChain (https://hychain.co.uk/), a free, interactive web application designed as a smart hub to provide hydrogen supply chain solutions and insights for industries, students, and the public. HyChain translates our research outcomes into practical tools, enabling users to explore solution prototypes and carry out hands-on practices. To date, we have launched two user-friendly modular tools: a hydrogen supply chain simulator for feasibility assessment, and a stakeholder ranking tool for selecting optimal partners. Both tools incorporate cutting-edge scientific innovations, with two associated papers published in 2024. To accelerate HyChain’s impact and promote EDI, I delivered a lightning talk for the Women in OR & Analytics Network in 2023, followed by a feature in the OR Society’s Inside OR magazine.
