Description

Co-led the design, launch, and delivery of the EMBL-EBI international training course “Single-cell RNA-seq analysis with Python”, delivered in February 2026 in collaboration with the University of Cambridge.

I initiated and led the methodological transition of an established and highly popular scRNA-seq training programme from an R-based workflow at the University of Cambridge—where I also contribute as a trainer—to a Python-based analysis framework at EMBL-EBI, first introduced in 2025, in response to growing community demand for Python-based single-cell analysis.

I served as co-organiser, trainer, and project mentor, contributing to course design, participant selection, academic delivery, and mentoring within hands-on training sessions. The course is highly selective, attracting international applicants from academia and industry, and has received strong participant feedback.
