21st meeting of the OECD Water Governance Initiative (WGI)

Description

The meeting gathered over 100 practitioners, policymakers, and representatives from major stakeholder groups. Discussions focused on:
- The launch of the OECD report Water Governance for Climate Resilience in Hungary;
- The exchange of knowledge, experiences, and recent developments on water governance reforms, good practices, and events;
- The preparation of collective messages from the WGI for the 2026 UN Water Conference;
- Pathways towards a Global Stocktake in 2026, explored through a series of “lighthouse debates”.
