Description

As the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development approaches its final phase, reflections on its achievements, limitation, and future directions has become increasingly important. In that context, the 2027 GSDR, the third in a series of reports aiming to strengthen the interfaces of science, policy, and society, will inform the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in preparation for the SDG Summit in September 2027.

The day’s discussions focused on three key themes identified by previous GSDR reports as points of transformation to accelerate sustainable development: sustainable food systems and nutrition, urban and peri-urban development, and the global environmental commons, particularly regarding protecting biodiversity.

This event took place on May 13, from 09:15-16:30 at Prince Philip House, 3 Carlton House Terrace, St James, London, SW1Y 5DG.
