Description

the upcoming 2026 Business, Society and Education Conference (2026BSE), jointly organized by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of Bath (BathCSSA), the University of Bath School of Management, and the Centre for Business, Organization and Society (CBOS).

This conference encourages research in the fields of business, society, and education with a Chinese context. We also welcome research with other countries as a research context, as well as transnational studies comparing China with other countries. The conference particularly encourages submissions in the following five core thematic areas:

• Corporate Governance and Strategic Management

• Accounting and Finance

• Urban, Regional and Social Governance

• Organizational Behavior and Human Resources

• Education, Higher Education and Social Development Leadership

Second author of paper: Transitional Spaces as Informal Learning Infrastructure on Chinese Campuses: Behavioural Evidence from Exam-Week Observations
this paper conducts a focused behavioural observation study during an exam period on a Chinese campus. Rather than modelling all environmental and spatial mechanisms at once, the paper isolates the behavioural layer to answer research questions about space governance:
1) Do different TSs show significant differences in behavioural intensity and functional profile?
2) Under exam-week conditions, do behaviours exhibit stable temporal rhythms and peak distributions?
3) How does learning behaviour manifest across different TS profiles during exam week?
